FJ40/45 Aluminum Cowl 1978 & Older & Windshield Frame!

Aluminum Cowl (Windshield Frame included, but not shown) for FJ40/45(1960-78). Constructed of 5052 and 6061 (T6) Aluminum. The cowl is usually purchased with our Aluminum Body Tub. We attach the cowl to the tub at the factory and both items are shipped as one unit. Many questions are presented as to what items are drilled/cut out. Note in the picture that the dash is left blank with the exception of the glove box. The glove box is installed and is ready for your door to be installed. The rest of the dash is left blank. Reason? Some folks run a stock dash, they then just drill or cut where needed. Other prefer to run custom gages (Autometer, etc.) and we have many requests to allow for these gages to be custom cut, thus no extra holes. The driver’s side firewall has most of the holes cut out (clutch master, steering column, brake booster, pedal assembly, throttle pedal). The air kick-out vents are cut, just install your steel doors and stock pins. Air louvers are manufactured into the side panel. Holes are drilled for your stock steel windshield hinges to be installed with the Aluminum Windshield Frame that is included with all our Aluminum Cowls.
